Ralph B. Mac Donald is a musician who has been working professionally for over thirty eight years in the music “industry”, and currently owns and operates Zoo Studios and Crowdis Bridge Publishing from his home in Toronto, Canada, where he records and produces independent projects for various artists as well as his own work. Starting with bands in high school, then later at St. Francis Xavier University, Ralph went on to be a full time musician, performing in various places around the world. He has worked at such venues as Ontario Place, Toronto (annually for five years), daily shows at the Canadian National Exhibition, and clubs and hotels throughout Central and North America, Scotland, England, and The Netherlands, maintaining house gigs for four years at The Bull and Whistle Bar in Key West, Florida, and at Hotel La Colina, Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica from 1997 until Sept 2003. 2004 found Ralph on cruise ships, and a year later he was based out of Wilmington North Carolina with the group “Hijinx”.
 
Along with nationally aired videos, interviews and performances, Ralph has also appeared on Global T.V. with Hock Walsh, Danny Marks; City T.V. and Much Music with other recording artists, and numerous cable productions and radio shows with other groups, and has received airplay at home and abroad with original material which is documented by SOCAN. He co-wrote a song with members of the Juno award winnig group “Fathead”, and the song was included on their fourth CD “First Class Riff Raff” which was nominated for a Juno in 2003. He has since had “New Song on the Radio” released by Sab in 2007, and  “Rock-a-billy Baby”  released by Sean Barker in 2009.
 
              Other performing highlights include:
 
• Touring musician for Magnus Theatre’s production of the John Grey play “Rock and Roll”
• concert appearance with Bo Diddley for 11,000 people
• between 1992 and 2006 Ralph played five different instruments on more than thiry-five projects, producing nine of these albums
• featured with Lance Bennett and The Gladstonians on the Bravo T.V. series “Bluesman” which aired globally
• helped as an assistant musical director to successfully obtain the option rights from the Zappa Family Trust to perform Frank Zappa’s “Joe’s Garage” as a stage play, and performed “The Central Scrutinizer” and vocalist at Earl Bales Park in 1996
• performed with Bobby Keys from The Rolling Stones in a Toronto nightclub
